Our guests may choose between six not electrically air conditioned bungalows, five with double beds and one twin, ten electrically air conditioned bungalows, eight with double beds and two twin or our electrically air conditioned Villa.Families may choose to use the connecting door between bungalows no. 6 and 7 or select our large Family Villa 1 right at Amed beach. Our family villa has one separate bedroom with a king size double bed and one living room with two single beds – up to two extra beds can be added on request.
The combination of Balinese tradition and modern interior design creates a comfortable and romantic atmosphere.In our non AC bungalows we have applied an air conditioning /cooling system based on the effect of evaporation. Our system works best with a strong wind that we usually enjoy in Amed. You may wish to learn about the traditional salt panning process conducted in Amed either on our display table in Café Garam with the traditional salt processing facilities in its center or visit the real salt processing on our premises during dry season, when the delicious Amed sea salt, a real gourmet salt, is panned by the people from Amed. Visit our Organic Garden and see how Pineapple, Papaya & Banana grow with the help of the compost we generate with our waste separation and composting organic. Hotel Uyah Amed, the ECO friendly Hotel, strives to protect the environment and maintains an Environmental Management System. We make various ECO programs and do, among others, composting to recycle our organic waste. The compost is used for our Organic garden – the fruit we harvest are served in our Café Garam as fresh fruit or fresh fruit juices! Hotel Uyah Amed has one beautiful 10 m pool in an open tropical garden and a second large 18 m swimming pool including a special part for small children right at the beach with a gorgeous view on Mount Agung. At the beach pool is our Amed Salt Bar equipped with a large 42 inch LCD-TV screen for viewing sports events or other programs of interest. You may also watch a movie from DVD. Go snorkeling or diving and look at the beautiful underwater- world with colorful coral and fish at the Liberty shipwreck in Tulamben, nearby and the other excellent dive sites in our area.
