1 hour drive from Denpasar. Taman means”Garden”and
Ayun means”Beautiful”.The temple was built in
1634 by the Mengwi dynasty, the King of I Gusti Agung Anom.
It is the main temple of the Mengwi kingdom.The temple,elaborately
carved doors lead into a garden sanctuary surrounded by a
moat.The temple houses the shrines of royal ancestors and
major deities.Major ceremonies are held here every year.

a small forest with the width about 6-7ha located in the
middle of the rice field in Tabanan regency, west part of
Bali. The total size of this forest, temple and its supporter
facility is about 12 ha. In this forest, there is a temple
called Alas Kedaton Temple and owns the natural environments
that is looked green with its fresh air and create the calm,
quite and holy atmosphere. The monkeys in Alas Kedaton are
very tame and free gallivanting in temple yard, so that
the calm atmosphere is sometime solved by noise voice of
the monkey, which are playing around and scrambling of food.
The monkeys who dwell in this forest, there are jump up
and down in temple wall, take a bath in moat or there is
also hang out in few leaves representing impression view.
The monkey like as custodian of temple, which are always
ready to greet all visitor who are paying a visit to this
place. Beside monkeys, in Kedaton forest also can be met
the bats and some other animals. At least 24 types of grove
plant have been identified in Alas Kedaton.

Lot Temple is a popular spot to watch a dramatic sunset.This
temple is possibly the best-known and most photographed temple
on the island.Tanah means earth,and Lot means sea or south.Tanah
Lot perched atop a striking, jagged rocky outcrop along the
black sandy beach.
This temple is the most important and one of venerated sea
temples for Balinese people.To reach the temple,you must take
a walkway through a kind of sideshow alley with a lot of souvenir
shops.The temple is accessible at low tide, you can walk over
to the temple its self (non Balinese are not allowed to enter),or
walk up to the slope to the left and wait for”The sun
set”down.
Hundreds of the holy sea snakes sleep above the waterline
in rocky holes along the beach.according to the local belief,
These snakes are the guards of the temple.
